In Mantralayam

Manchalamma Temple
Right next to the main temple, the temple of Manchlamma - the local deity can be found. Legend has it that Raghavendra Swamy requested the land required for the Bridavanam from Manchalamma and hence devotees are first supposed to visit the Manchalamma temple before visiting Sri Raghavendra Swamy.

Venkateshwara Temple

Inside the village, near the Archakas house, the temple of Venkateshwara Swamy can be found. The idol here was worshipped by Sri Raghavendra Swamy during his tenure. The garden here serves as the source of Thulasi after the original one behind the temple was moved out due to temple construction and expansion

Near Mantralayam

Panchamukhi Anjaneya Swamy
Twenty kilometers away across the river Tungabhadra is a temple called Panchamukhi that commemorates the spot where Raghavendra is said to have meditated for twelve years. The famous Five headed (Panchamukhi) Anjaneya Swamy temple is situated on a hillock. State run buses and private Taxis, Jeeps and Autos are easily availble at affordable prices from Mantralayam. Food & water is not easily available here. Its advisable to have a stock of the necessary items before you travel out of Mantralayam.

Bichhali
A picturesque and serene place on the banks of river Tungabhadra, Bichhali is famous as the place where Appannachar, the closest desciple of Raghavendra Swamy used to do his Japa and Pooja.

Bichhali is about 20 kilometers from Mantralayam. Only private vehicles ply to this place and its advisable to hire some trsnsportation from Mantralayam to reach this place.

Chinna Tumbalam
The Narasimha Swamy 
Tample which is about 200 years old can be found in Chinna Tumbalam. This place is about 25 kilometers from Mantralayam off the Adoni Road. Once can reach this place either through buses or private transport.

Kowthalam
Kowthalam is the native of Sri Guru Jagannatha Dasaru, the famous Haridasa in the Dwaitha community. The temple is being renovated and a HariKathamruthaSara mandira is being build by K Appannachar a desendent of
Sri Guru Jagannatha Dasaru. This place is about 30 kilometers from Mantralayam off the Adoni Road. Once can reach this place either through buses or private transport.

Urukunda
Narasimha Swamy 
Tample can be found in Urukunda. After the recent renovation and the Annadana facilities by various communities, Urukunda is fast becoming a major piligrim center.This place is about 30 kilometers from Mantrlaayam off the Adoni Road. Once can reach this place either through buses or private transport. Mantralyam is a Hindu religious place where the Moola Bridavanam of Sri Guru Raghavendra Swamy is located. Sri Guru Raghavendra Swamy, (1601-1671), was an influential saint in Hinduism. He advocated Vaishnavism (i.e. worship of Vishnu as the supreme God.) and Dvaita philosophy advocated by Sri Madhwacharya. He is considered to be a reincarnation of Prahallada, the devotee who was saved by Vishnu, in his avatar of Narasimha. Shri Raghavendra Swamy is said to have performed many miracles during his lifetime and is believed to continue to bless his devotees to this day.
